Lula Adams is an artist and photographer who was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and has lived in northwestern Nevada since 1978. She graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno in 1990, and received her Masterís degree from Lesley University in 2000. She worked for the Washoe County School District as an elementary school teacher for 17 years before launching Faith Colors.
Bright vibrant colors are an important feature of Lula's prophetic art. Her desire is to impart hope, joy, and God's grace through her art. She uses colored pencils, acrylics and watercolors.
Lula loves the free roaming horses found in the majestic mountains and wide open spaces of Nevada. She is delighted when she is accepted by the wild horses and can move in close to take action shots. Her art and photography capture the beauty of these free horses. Her photography includes landscapes, flowers, birds and other wildlife.
